Rara Lake Trek is the wilderness and solitude hiking tour to the pristine mountain lake of Rara. Many travelers have designated this lake as the Queen of Himalayan Lakes.
Rara is also the largest lake of Nepal spread over five kilometers long and two kilometers wide at an altitude of 3010m/9875ft from the sea level.

Best Season for Rara Lake Trek
The Spring (September-October) and Autumn season (March-May) are the best time for Rara Lake Trekking.

The visitors can even enjoy tented camps on the western part of the lake. Therefore, the cost of the Rara Lake trek is comparatively lower than the other destination which is very affordable to everyone.
Required Documents
A Rara National Park permit costs $20 and can be purchased from the immigration office in Kathmandu.
Please note that you must trek with a registered guide and that a trekking party must consist of at least two people.
