Accommodations
In Kathmandu, you’ll be staying in star hotels. But on trekking routes, you’ll be staying on tea houses or guesthouses.
Only few guesthouses have attached bathrooms. Guesthouses or lodges in most of the places only have shared washing and toilet facilities.
For tent accommodation, foam mattress will be made available.
In climbing section, toilet facilities will be provided with necessary natural preservation. If you are a solo traveler, we will share a room or tent with someone else of same sex of our group.
If you prefer a single room, we may indicate our preference and get single rooms on request by paying supplement amount.
However, it is better to understand the fact that there are several places that do not allow single room accommodation. On paying single supplement, we will get single room in Kathmandu but sometimes it is not feasible in mountains during the trek.

Medical Supplies
We strongly suggest bringing Western meds with you as there are a lot of Indian fakes on the market!
Suggested: Diamox, Azithromycin, Ciprofloxacin, Tinidazole, or Flagyl & Augmentin. Bring COMPEED for covering blisters & good tasting electrolytes &/or rehydration salts (Emergen-C is a good American brand). The local versions aren’t very appealing.
We also recommend bringing strong knee & ankle supports & braces, ACE bandages for sprains & strains, Tegaderm &/or other would coverings. Duct tape is always useful. We’re happy to take excess medical supplies off your hands when you leave if you won’t need them and pass them on to others. We use lots of the large amount we have with us to treat locals we meet when trekking.
