Pisang Peak (Jong Ri) is located North of the Town of Pisang and Annapurnna II.
This Peak Climb is graded as PD + which means ‘per difficule’ of some technical difficulties walking on ice and glaciers grading taken from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification.
Though it requires some climbing experience, It is considered as an easy climbing peak and provides its climbers an interesting journey passing along varied ecosystems, diverse cultures, and amazing landscapes.
You will be walking in beautiful forest paths viewing various mountain peaks. The routes of this trip are conjoined with the Annapurna Circuit routes. So, you will also be able to meet many trekkers on the way.
Along with reaching the summit, you will also be crossing a high pass, Thorong La pass. And visiting Jomsom and Muktinath some popular towns on these routes.
And you’ll also enjoy the view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain Ranges.

Best Time for Pisang Peak Climb
Visiting Pisang Peak is suitable at any time of the year. There are four seasons: Spring, Autumn, Monsoon, and Winter. Out of the seasons, trekkers prefer spring and Autumn the favorable time to tour Pisang Peak.
Spring and Autumn are the peak season of the year. These are the seasons when nature blooms the valley with its beauty all around. There are no chances of rainfall and snowfall due to which the walks are comfortable. Also, the skies are clear giving the best view of peaks and landscapes.
During these seasons the days are sunny and hot while the nights are mild. The weather and temperature are very favorable for trekking in the mountains.
Winter and Monsoon are also doable but there are a few obstacles that might face during this time. These are seasons of snow and rainfall. Thus the cold weather and slippery ways can make the trek thrilling and Challenging. Yet, these are the times when the routes are less crowded so it is perfect for peace lovers.
Foods and Accommodations on Pisang Peak
We can enjoy mainly continental meals during the trip mainly Nepali, Indian and Chinese. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner are available throughout the trip. We take our breakfast in the same place where we stay the night. We will take Lunch during the trek or en route whereas the dinner, we will take it where we stay overnight. You will be provided with fresh and hygienic food during the trek.
If you want to know about the accommodations then you don’t have to worry about it. We will be staying in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu, a fine hotel in Pokhara, and standard teahouses during the trekking and tents while climbing. Most of the teahouse accommodations have shared toilet facilities and for the tent, you will be provided a 4-season sleeping bag and foam mattress. During the climbing sections, the toilet facilities will be provided according to the necessary natural preservations. During the upper elevation trek, you have to share the room with twins, a single room can be provided if you pay extra charges. But in some cases, you may not find single rooms as well.

Itinerary
This day is set for the rest day as well as a hike around the local area of upper Pisang village. Our health expert will advise us not to remain idle for the whole day that’s why we will roam around the local area of Pisang village. We will interact with the local people and experience their lifestyles. The mind-blowing views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho will make our walk worthy.
This day is set as a reserve day. If the weather will be unfavorable as our plan and itinerary then we can use this day to submit the peak but otherwise, if there will be no obstacle then this day is not necessary.
